Budget Eyelash Curlers

They're abit dirty from using them, oops.
I've had eyelash curlers for years, but just recently added them into my make-up routine. They all look so similar, but once you begin using them you can then understand whether you like them or not. For me, it all depends on the type of handle they have, whether you can hold them easily and if they're not too harsh or sharp on the lashes or against eyes. I find when I do use them they make me look more awake and give my lashes a natural curl that lasts all day! I always see the Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers being reviewed and raved about. But the thing is, who wants to spend £20 on eyelash curlers! I admit I have been tempted too, but then I think to myself 'What's the point!?'

Real Techniques Blush Brush

As soon as the Real Techniques Brushes hit the shops, they were a must-have in every beauty lovers make-up bag. There's so many different brushes to choose from and they're such a good price for what they are! I already have The Core Collection and The Starter Set but I didn't have anything to apply my Blusher. I picked this one up because I was debating between the Blush Brush and the New Retractable Bronzing Brush, but the Bronzing Brush is slightly more expensive at £13.99 and I didn't have enough Boots points on my Advantage card. (I was secretly crying inside...)

Apps for Bloggers

As I've been blogging more and more I've been learning alot on the way, and I wanted to share what I've learnt with others that may be new to blogging or want to start their own blog but are slightly hesitant about the idea. (I know I was at first!)
Instead of constantly logging onto your computer or laptop every-time you either want to check your blog or upload a new post, you can do it all straight from your phone. Alot of us use our phones on a daily basis and use them for anything and everything, right!? So, here are a few must-have apps for current and up and coming bloggers...

The Blogger Made Me Do It

Yes you guessed it, it's gonna be one of those types of posts. You've already read a few of them most probably. The Blogger made me do it, I promise! It's hard not to follow a Beauty Blogger and love the products they're loving, then it's a trip to the shops and that's when the bad stuff happens, you buy everything! Money's spent, pay-day seemed like a distant memory and all I have to show for it is a very expensive piece of Make-up.

Palmer's Cocoa Butter

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Fragrance Free Formula is the best body cream I've come across so far. A rich, Emollient cream that's best for my Eczema, as Emollients are aimed to help heal the skin and make it feel more comfortable and moisturised.

With the added Vitamin E, this acts as an antioxidant to help repair and protect skin, as well as targeting premature ageing. The extra added Vitamin E also helps reduce the appearance on scars and stretch marks, giving a more even toned appearance to impurities. (Palmer's have also made creams targeted towards tummy stretch marks and firming the skin, best for new mums!)

What's in my Make-Up Bag?

A typical Beauty Blogger's post, What's in my Make-up Bag?! If you're as intrigued as I am then you'll want to know what's in my make-up bag, right? I've already done posts on a few products that feature in my daily make-up routine.
I'll list the products in the order I use them. I've linked up all the products I can for you guys.

Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner

In this months Glamour Magazine was a beauty must in my opinion, for just £2 you can get the magazine plus a Full Sized Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner in either Black or Navy. The Black Eyeliner wasn't hard to find, however I had to search far and wide for the Navy Liner and at last I'd found this in Sainsburys after looking everywhere! Finally, I'd got both eyeliners at a bargain price. I've wanted these since they'd launched but was always scared about paying full price for was seems just an eyeliner. Not the cheapest but worth the money in my opinion.

EcoTools Bamboo Kabuki Brush

I've been on the hunt for a Kabuki Brush to apply my powder foundation with, and recently stumbled across this. The brand EcoTools, is also 'earth friendly' as their make-up brushes are made out of bamboo.
And because of the Bamboo this makes the packaging look beautiful yet simple, it's a gorgeous drugstore Kabuki Brush that some say works better than the higher end ones! Would you agree though?

No7 Instant Illusions Rapid Radiance Balm

I've never really tried the No7 Brand, I've not really seen something I've been interested in or I haven't heard alot of people using the brand itself. But then I came across this, their Instant Illusions Rapid Radiance Balm. Part of their Skincare range which is targeted towards drier skin types to work as a moisturising base underneath foundation. Works to illuminate the skin with its light-reflective technology and cancel out dullness, creating a glow from within kind of look. I also found Amelia Liana raving about this product, stating this as a dupe for the Clarins Beauty Flash Balm. Unfortunately, I can't say whether I agree or not because I haven't tried the Beauty Flash Balm. (Yet!)

The Body Shop Honey Bronzer

I love defining my cheek bones and adding a little bronzer on my temples, even if I'm going for a natural make-up look. I find that adding bronzer where the sun would naturally hit your face as well as adding definition to cheekbones makes you look alot more alive and awake. I'm not sure how to explain it, but to me it makes your finished make-up look more natural and glowing. I find alot of bronzers are a kind of orangey colour that looks too obvious and fake on the skin. It ends up looking a little too much and sometimes adding only the smallest amount can be too much. I've found a new bronzer that does the exact opposite and it's been hiding away in The Body Shop!

What do you want to see!?

Ive been uploading several posts on Vanilla in November, but I don't actually know what you guys want to see. What do you want to read about!? What do you enjoy! You guys are the reason for this blog but I don't actually know what you want see. I've just based ideas around other blogs I've read and what others enjoy reading. Does that sound as stupid as it seems!? It would be great if you guys could comment on this post please. I realise that I am a newcomer when It comes to blogging and Vanilla in November is brand new. But in order to keep Vanilla in November up I want you to tell me what you enjoy reading on blog posts and seeing. I am loving blogging and I have plenty ideas but it's whether you want to read them. I want this blog to be a success and a much loved site so I can carry on this hobby I've been absolutely loving! (Guys, changed the settings so anyone can comment. What you waiting for!?)

Mascara Mayhem!

I'm very picky when it comes to Mascara's, you just know when it's gonna be a good'un. I've gone through a lot of different Mascara's and different brands. But a lot of them I haven't fell in love with, it's only the odd few that actually stay in my Make-up stash. With Mascara's I tend to stay with one for a while until I find something better, and that rarely happens. I want one that glides on easily and doesn't flake. A Mascara that makes my lashes look longer without the 'spider leg' look, you get what I mean right?! I want my eyes to look awake and only a certain few tick those boxes. I only have a few Mascara's I know I can go back too, the ones that work for me.

Birkenstock Alternative

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that these sandals have recently come back into fashion? The classic Birkenstock sandal have recently been hitting the highstreet fashion market just in time for the summer, and are selling like crazy. Although, not all of us can afford the typical Birkenstock price tag! The Birkenstock Arizona Sandal, priced at nearly £65 isn't the cheapest, especially for us lot on a budget. Well, I've searching through the internet to find a cheaper alternative. And I think I've found them!

Avene Eau Thermale Thermal Water Spray

Avene Thermal Water Spray is perfect for sensitive skin types and a famous French Pharmacy staple.
It's basically a spray that can be used for different things. Don't ask, just read! Can be used as a Make-up setting spray, and this is what I use it for. It sets my make-up all day, doesn't break me out which is another added bonus and feels refreshing on the skin.

Soap and Glory Hocus Pocus

I've recently been on the hunt for something to put underneath my foundation to give me that 'summer dewy look' I've wanted. And after reading blog posts from Amelia Liana I stumbled across her 'Budget Primer Edit.' I need something to give me a glow all over my face rather than just on the high points of my cheeks and this does exactly that! This just makes me look alot more alive and makes my skin look dewy and plump.

NEW: Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick

So, you may have heard about these through alot of different beauty bloggers raving about them. New to the beauty market, they are worth a try. Get them before they all go! I know my obsession with lip glosses has been satisfied, although I'm tempted to get the rest.

NEW: L'oreal L'Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick.

I'm not a big lover of lipsticks, I much prefer the feel and look of lip gloss. And at least I know it won't end up on my teeth, right?! I love the way lipglosses glide on so easily and are effortlessly gorgeous on everyones lips. They stay put and keep your lips hydrated at the same time. When I saw this I wasn't too sure, it looked like a gloss, felt like a gloss but is actually a 'liquid lipstick,' Eh?

Multi-Purpose Products.

The products I am about to talk about, can work wonders. I know, maybe a little too much. But these products work well on different things. You'll understand, scroll down to see for yourself.

NEW: Hand Cream

Not all of us are guilty of using a hand cream day to day, but this one new to the market promises to combat 8 signs of hand ageing. Something I've been waiting for to come into the beauty market for quite a while, as I struggle with eczema on my hands. They can appear sore and red and this hand cream is something that aims to work to decrease the look of red patches and premature ageing.
