FOR MORE SENSITIVE SOULS.

I have to admit, this product has a strong place not only on my skincare shelf, but also in my day-to-night regime. This super creamy cleanser is a dream come true, especially for more sensitive souls...

HYDRATION WITH THE BODY SHOP

Before diving straight into the full price tag, what better way to sample a product than through their handy sachets. The Body Shop's Vitamin E Moisture Mask (£13) is a product I wasn't afraid to try because my skin loves the Vitamin E range, especially they're Intense Moisture Cream. The Moisture Mask isn't too different to the rest of the product range

WINTER HANDCARE

I'm always on the look out for a new hand cream that ticks all the boxes and I think I may have found just the thing! Atrixo Regenerating Treatment Hand Cream (£5.80) is perfect for caring for your hands during the colder months and for sticking in your bag on the go.

A white, creamy gel that sinks in almost immediately after application, it felt really luxurious and left my hands feeling hydrated and silky soft. The best thing about this is that it isn't greasy and doesn't have any kind of sickly smell. I didn't apply cream for ages after using this, my hands felt soft for hours, longer than usual anyway!

It gives extra strength to hands that are feeling a little rough and chapped and helps to restore your skins natural balance. It's great value and currently 3 for 2 at Boots, I'd highly recommend this hand cream if your hands are a little unhappy during Autumn/Winter time.

THE BODY SHOP VITAMIN E NIGHT CREAM

I've been doing a little change up in my skincare, finding what works for me and sticking to it! I wanted to try out a night cream, purely because I wanted to see if there's a difference.
In the morning I use The Body Shop's Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream which works for me and my skin type! It's nourishing and very gentle but gives the right amount of hydration without being greasy.

The Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream is the same creamy gel texture with a light pinky tone to it. It's definitely nourishing but isit nourishing enough? For very dry patches it doesn't give enough hydration, especially during the night when my skin needs it the most. It's alot lighter than my usual pick and isn't as intense. I'd recommend this more for normal to dry skin types rather than very dry, it doesn't give me the moisture I need.

It isn't greasy or tacky feeling and there's no smell whatsoever, the night cream doesn't sting or irritate any sensitive areas. What's great about this is that it sinks in quickly, so I can apply this straight before bed without my head sticking to the pillow. I wish I loved this, I expected so much and unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations. For now, I'll carry on using the Vitamin E Instense Cream until I find something better!

VANILLA (BRULEE) IN NOVEMBER

I've had this post lined up for a while, it's inevitable that I had to do this! The Vanilla products from The Body Shop are the perfect fit as they're released in November and part of their Christmas Limited Edition Range. I tried these last year and instantly fell in love so much so that when they started selling off their last batch of Vanilla Body Butters I bought a bag full! Find the full Vanilla range here!

Body Butter, retails for £13.00 and is a gift sent from heaven - that's if you're a lover of vanilla! With it's beautiful buttery texture it leaves my skin feeling silky and soft and smelling lovely. It isn't greasy cream and doesn't leave a horrible feeling on the skin, it absorbs instantly and leaves behind the festive scent.

Shower Cream, £4.00 - this shower cream lathers up great and fills my shower with the heavenly scent. This is very rich and indulgent and leaves my skin really soft and smooth. The fragrance is one of my favourites, I love anything Vanilla or Coconut and this is paradise for me!

Vanilla Brulee Sparkler is priced at £15.00 and comes in a beautiful, old school perfume bottle which completes any beauty bloggers background! This is very light with tiny bits of glitter to stop those winter blues adding a glow to the skin. This doesn't irritate any of my sensitive skin, none of the products do but this one is certainly something I wouldn't normally use. You can spritz this on either skin or in your hair and it will give that golden goddess shimmer.

Body Polish, retails at £10.00 which seems expensive for a scrub but it's so gentle and filled with good, natural ingredients great for our skin. I gently buff this into my skin and it removes any dead skin, leaving everything very soft and smooth and smelling great. This is what dreams are made of!

NIP + FAB DRAGONS BLOOD CLEANSING PADS

Nip + Fab have recently unveiled their Dragons Blood Skincare range and I decided to give the Cleansing Pads a go, they come in a travel friendly container inside there are 60 pads already pre-soaked in goodness. They target pores and redness but hydrate the skin at the same time, something you don't see very often! Enriched with Salicylic Acid to cleanse pores, Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate and plump skin and Witch Hazel to reduce redness and tighten pores.

I haven't been using these pads for a long time so I can't say a whole lot, but what I can say it that these take off and sweep away all the make-up and dirt I've been wearing through the day. They're extremely gentle and don't irritate or sting any sore/sensitive areas, afterwards my skin didn't feel dry or tight. They leave my skin very soft hydrated and looking plump and feelin' fresh. What's great about these cleansing pads is there's no scent to them, they don't have an off putting or sickly smell. They aren't at all greasy in any way and didn't leave my skin feeling sticky afterwards.

During the amount of time I've been using them they haven't left my skin feeling drier than what it usually is or broken me out, my skin feels cleaner and looks brighter. I've really enjoyed using these cleansing pads as a part of my morning and nightly routine, I didn't expect to love these as much as I do.  I'm not too sure what the whole Dragon's blood is about, but I'm sure Dragon off Shrek wasn't involved in the making of these products!

VASELINE QUEEN BEE

We all know and love the classic Vaseline tin, and with it's wide variety of moisture-locking products and special limited edition products there's never a boring moment. They have recently unveiled their Vaseline Queen Bee is a honey scented lip balm, that unfortunately is limited edition so get yours quick because you will fall in love with this product. The gorgeous black and yellow striped is gorgeous, it's so appealing and I am completely buzzing about this one, pun intended...

As soon as I opened the tin I just wanted to eat all of its contents, the sweet, heavenly honey scent is very alluring and completely whisks me away to dream land! It's very sophisticated and lingers around for a while after you've applied it and the smell isn't sickly or off putting which is always a bonus! Vaseline have pulled it out of the bag with this beauty! The clear coloured balm feels very silky and velvety to the touch and you only need the tiniest amount as a little goes a long. It leaves my lips feeling very soft and kissable and feel very hydrated and healthy afterwards. It's no ordinary lip balm, a handbag must-have!

BOTANICS ALL BRIGHT SERUM

If you read my recent post about What's New in: The Skincare Shelf you will have seen that I decided to try out the Botanics All Bright Radiance Concentrate Serum. This product is meant to brighten your skin in as little as two weeks, giving you a 'radiant, healthy glow.'

I've only been using this for around a week but I've already seen noticed changes in my skin! Everything is more even and brighter in tone and overall I look alot healthier, it's like I've had my 8 hours sleep and all my veggies in this tiny little bottle. I got this serum in the Boots sale for half price at £3.50, which is spare change in my purse! Unfortunately, I can't find this online but it is available in Boots stores.

This is a very thick, hydrating serum that feels very light and luxurious on the skin, I tend to only need one drop for my whole face and neck as this is quite rich. I blend this in with my fingertips and wait for everything to sink in, that doesn't take long because my skin literally drinks this stuff day and night. This isn't greasy or sticky, it doesn't have a sickly scent and it hasn't made me break out. It plumps, firms and soothes as well as adding a lovely dewy, glow making me look much more awake. My skin has become softer and brighter since I've added this into my regime, I'm excited to see the results after two weeks!

CLINIQUE DRAMATICALLY DIFFERENT LOTION

I've recently done a little switch-up and plenty of beauty products have either been given away or thrown because in all seriousness I needed a good clear out to happen sooner, rather than later. I came across Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion and I'm embarrassed to say I received this in Glamour Magazine a few issues ago.

It's a tiny 5ml sample that's perfect for travelling, and with it being Clinique the packaging isn't too shabby either - insert happy emoji. My mind was set that this was more for normal to dry skin, which in all fairness it is, but with my skin being more on the drier side I thought this certainly wouldn't work for me let alone make a dramatic difference, pun intended...

This being a lotion I expected it to be quite thin and watery in consistency but actually it's fairly thick for a lotion. It's very lightweight, feels like you're applying nothing to your skin but there is something there because it feels so rich and hydrating. This lotion doesn't apply or leave your skin an off yellow colour, something I was worried about! This sinked in almost immediately after I applied this with my fingers, my skin felt very soft and plump - silky to the touch so of course I was very happy about that. Clinique have certainly created a beautiful product right here, I may have to invest in a bigger size, bank card at the ready!

NEW IN: THE SKINCARE SHELF

I try to add a few newbies here and there when it comes to skin, my skin doesn't respond well to a constant change in products. I don't like too many steps in my skincare regime either, I don't want to take my make-up before bed and it feel like a chore.
I'm looking for something to add that glow from within look and I love the All Bright Toner so why not try out more of that range! Botanics All Bright Serum is meant to brighten the skin and give a glow within 2 weeks! Let's put it to test - to be continued...

Nip + Fab Skin have recently brought out their Dragons Blood range, which really appealed to me because it's meant to target hydration. I picked up their Dragons Blood Fix Cleansing Pads which are enriched with salicylic acid and hyaluronic acid to give a deep clean to any annoying areas like spots or pores. But they're also meant to be really gentle and packed with hydration - they sound perfect for my skin as I get really dry skin but I also have pores and spots to clean! I'll trial them and be right back with another post.

My love for Botanics  doesn't stop there, as I also picked up their All Bright Micellar 3 in 1 Cleanser. My Skin really gets on with the toner, so I thought why not get the cleanser as well as this can only maximise results and give my skin and greater chance at getting its glow on!

Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Body Butter was a favourite of mine in the past, with it's sweet scent of holidays and silky buttery texture it can only be a winner with me. It's great at giving my skin the hydration and protection it needs but also gives it a little sheen and sweet scent. My skin is healthy and happy after using this, and I couldn't be happier. (Insert blushing emoji!)

A-DERMA SKINCARE

My skin is sensitive and dry all year round, but in Autumn/Winter time during the colder months it becomes drier and even more sensitive. Being a massive skincare lover I'm constantly on the hunt for new and exciting products that make me feel better about my skin and Escentual had just the thing. The A-Derma Sensitive Skincare range is perfectly suited towards my skin type, and all ingredients are plant based which means there's nothing nasty in the products.

A-Derma Sensifluid Cleansing Micellar Water* is a super creamy and soothing cleanser that feels really luxurious. This removes all my make-up and any dirt easily without any rubbing or pulling at the skin and leaves everything feeling extremely plumped up, smoothed out and very hydrated, my skin felt as soft as a babies bum! *Thumbs up*

I can also use this to take off my eye make-up as it doesn't sting or irritate my eye area. This must be the creamiest micellar water cleanser I've used so far, my skin looked alive and glowing after use this. And with no scent, it doesn't smell of anything weird of unusual - which makes my nose happy.

A-Derma Nutrialba Nourishing Cream* is a little pot in gold, it's an extremely nourishing and hydrating cream that feels very comfortable on and sinks in quickly. It isn't sticky or sickly, and applies smoothly without being greasy. My skin felt smoother and silky to the touch after using this, it really is a god send in these winter months. HALLELUJAH!

This is a very thick, white cream that's suited towards dry and fragile skin helping to repair the skin and restore hydration and moisture. It also comes with a little applicator just in case you don't want to repeatedly dip your fingers into a pot - Genius!

A-Derma Light Soothing Cream* is as it says on tin, a very light hydrating cream that soothes and calms. This is a white, light gel type cream that's very cooling and once you apply this it sinks in very quickly and leaves my skin feeling exceptionally hydrated and firm. Thjs feels very refreshing and cold, so it instantly awakens my skin and makes me look like I've had all my eight hours of sleep.

It's also a great base under make-up as it's so hydrating but doesn't wait around, it sinks in almost immediately after application but keeps skin hydrated long after it's been applied.

A-Derma Hydralba Rich Hydrating Cream* is a very rich, hydrating white cream that also has the added bonus of having SPF 20. This is very plumping and soothing, feels very fresh and awakening on the skin. It sinks in immediately after applying it, and can also be used under make-up as a moisturiser and primer in one. Less skincare steps is definitely a winner with me!

THE VERDICT'S IN...

I featured this in my Skincare on Trial Post after eyeing this product up for quite some time, in the end I gave in and instantly fell in love. It's such a timeless, classic product that's so simple and doesn't promise to do anything more than what it already does. (Insert heart emoji!)

With a little nozzle it's easy to use and distribute the product without any waste. It's very creamy in consistency however, it's definitely more of a water cleansing milk rather than a cream or gel. It doesn't sting or irritate, has a fresh scent and hydrates without drying out my skin. *Applauds Product*

This removes all make-up and dirt without having to pull or rub against my skin and leaving everything a red raw. The one thing I would say is don't get this in your eyes, because it stings like a b*tch! (Note to self!)
It's definitely something a product I love and that my skin loves, and it's something I'll carry on using without a doubt. It's super cheap and very simple, yet I didn't expect so much from this. The packaging is very timeless as well, again with the nozzle it's easy to distribute product but with the lid that clicks on and off there won't be any waste of product or dreaded leaks.

SKINCARE ON TRIAL

I love finding new skin bits to try out and see what I love, then some can become staple products in my routine or ones that I know I can always go back to. Some products I've been eyeing up for while, debating whether or not it would be worth the money and the fuss!

In Autumn/Winter time my skin becomes alot drier so it needs all the hydration it can get, starting from the shower first thing in the morning. If you've been following this blog for a while you'll know how much I love the smell of coconut, it's such a beautiful scent that reminds me of holidays. The Super Beauty Coconut and Acai Shower Gel promises ultimate hydration with the Omega rich Acai and the skin softening Coconut. Sounds delicious!

My Skin always prefers milk or micellar water cleansers because they remove make-up and dirt but leaves my skin hydrated and plump at the same time. The Anne French Cleansing Milk seems like a really classic, simple cleanser that doesn't over complicate the whole nightly routine.

And Lastly, The Montagne face masks which are always a safe bet when it comes to skincare. They're just so cheap, yet they're so good. I can't explain it. I picked up two which are targeted towards blackheads and giving your skin a deep clean. (Something that I need to keep on top of!)

BACK TO THE BODY SHOP

This week I decided to go back to the best when it comes to skincare, I've been trying different face creams for a while now but nothing compares to this. The Body Shop have a great selection of products and the Vitamin E range is perfect for me and my skin type.

The Intense Moisture Cream is incredibly hydrating, a very thick cream that sinks in almost immediately once you've applied it. The cream is very soothing and calming, leaving my skin feeling so soft and hydrated. This doesn't feel oily or greasy, it's very silky when it with my fingers but it doesn't sit uncomfortably. When I've used this in the past my redness disappeared because of this product, and my skin looked healthier and felt less dry and irritable, over time it really did work its magic!
This cream will be one of my staples, especially through the winter months because it's lovely and the formula is so rich. It's easy to apply and a little goes a long way as it's such a thick cream, this leaves my skin very soft and plump throughout the day and works great under make-up, there's no slipping or sliding! My skin is very dry and sensitive and this really is perfectly suited to all my skins needs, it hydrates, soothes and calms and tones any uneven areas, and one pot lasts a good few months! (This is a seriously good product, I won't be using anything else for a long time.)

AN AWESOME HYDRATING DUO

I recently reviewed both products, The Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask and Sarah Chapman's Skinesis Intense Hydrating Booster. Both luxury, expensive products targeted towards dry skin to help renew moisture, great for Winter when skin becomes more tight and drier. I've been looking for products that would help hydrate any dry patches and keep them at bay, I've mainly been looking in the budget market and although I have come across a few they only tend to give me an instant fix instead of relief long-term. I didn't want to fork out for the more higher-end products because they can seem a little ridiculous in price, and aren't in everyone's budget. But I decide after reading an extensive amount of reviews and finally caving, I'd buy these two products and since then I haven't regretted it, it's the best thing I did - for my skin anyway!

The Clinique Moisture Surge Mask is perfect at relieving tightness, irritable skin and putting moisture back in when there's little, if not any left. The Mask is very creamy and light, it doesn't irritate or sting and sinks in very quickly. Once the cream has sunk in, it leaves an invisible layer that sticks around for a while and keeps skin hydrated, because of this invisible layer it's definitely more of an overnight mask. I put this on before bed and let it sink in before my head hits the pillow then when I wake up I have soft skin and surprisingly no flakes or dry patches.

The Intense Hydrating Booster is a Serum I put on before any moisturiser or creams allowing it to sink in and do it's thing. It feels extremely luxurious and very silky, it's a clear serum that sinks in almmost immediately after application. Again, doesn't irritate or aggravate my very sensitive skin and leaves it feeling very soothed and plumped. I've only been using this for a little while but recently I've noticed that my skin is alot more hydrated, but also extremely plump and alot of my redness has disappeared. Now I can't live without this!

ALL BRIGHT TONER

I must admit I only recently added a toner into my routine, mainly because I thought What's the point? Why do I need to add something else into my routine? I generally try to keep my routine quite simple and not try to add new products in as often as I'd like mainly because I find my skin is at it's best when I use similar products and try to stick to them.

Since I've included this into my routine I can see a difference in my skin already, I only use this at night when I want to take my make-up off because I find after cleansing make-up can still linger on my skin and this just gets the rest off. This doesn't dry out my already very dry skin, it makes my skin look very plump and glowy and feels really smooth. I had a few red patches/areas on my face, mainly dotted around my nose and chin but these have really calmed down since using this toner. My skin looks more refreshed and hydrated, and to be honest everything just looks alot brighter and more even. My Skin is really sensitive but this doesn't irritate it at all, it's very gentle and calming. My Skin is really weird, it's very dry and extremely sensitive due to my eczema but I also get a handful of breakouts from time to time. Due to this I've had alot less breakouts and when I do get abit spotty they're only small, but once I apply this they tend to heal alot quicker and marks disappear faster. I think this will definitely be staple in my skincare routine, and for the price I couldn't find any better.

SKINESIS INTENSE HYDRATING BOOSTER

Look what I finally got my hands on! After drooling over this for months on end, I could only dream of having this because of the price tag. But I tried to find something similar on the budget market and continually failed so I decided to give in and get it. Despite the higher price of this stuff I'm glad I finally caved and bought it, this is definitely not budget/purse friendly but this stuff stands on its own above all my budget products, it's like nothing I've used before.

I bought this through feelunique because of their little try me trial they currently have, (as well as a cheeky little discount code!) With the Try Me trial they sent me a 5ml sample for free along with the full sized product I initially paid for.
By sending me a mini hydrating booster I can try the product before-hand and if I don't like it I can send back the full sized booster un-opened and get my money back! Win, Win.

I've only just began using this so I haven't seen massive change in my skin but as I use this more and more I can see little dry areas becoming alot less dry which for me is a miracle especially coming into the colder months. The Hydrating Booster is almost like applying silky water to your face, it's so weightless yet has all the right ingredients to make skin happier. I've seen more a change from this than I have from anything else, sinks in almost immediately after application and plumps my skin giving me a gorgeous glow and a more even skin tone. I had alot of redness in my skin before but thanks to this it's has gone down so much and my complexion is so much more even and glowing. All these tiny changes are after a few uses both day and night so I'm excited to see the long term changes in my skin from this product.
Did I forget to mention that this is a serum targeted to make your moisturiser work ten times better!?

CLINIQUE MOISTURE SURGE MASK

I've been loving alot of different face masks lately, mainly hydrating masks because my skin is fairly dry and I tend to get patches around my face where my skin becomes tighter. In the past they have been more budget, purse friendly face masks but I've wanted to try Clinique's Moisture Surge Range since it was released because it's had such rave reviews.

The Mask itself is by far the best moisture, hydrating mask I've used so far. Despite the price I've seen more instant changes in my skin from this than I have from any other mask in the past. It's a pink-y/white gel type cream, very similar in colour and texture to the Moisture Surge Face Cream. Very hydrating and sinks in almost immediately leaving a light, hydrating film over my skin once everything has sunk in. Once I applied it before bed and let it sink in and I wake up with smooth, dewy skin. Usually when I wake up my skin is quite irritable with a few dry patches dotted around but after using this mask before bed there was none of this, my skin felt so soft and plump. My fave face mask so far!

3 IN 1 CLEANSING WATER

You know the drill guys, I needed a new cleanser and I was looking for something new to try and this just happened to catch my eye, (mainly because it was on offer!)

This is great because it's for sensitive skin so it is gentler and calming on the skin and it's a 3 in 1 so it's kind of a multi-purpose product when it comes to taking your makeup off or wiping away all the dirt you've collected through the day. This is meant to cleanse deep into the skin, remove dirt and make-up and moisturise all in one.

It removes all my make-up quickly without me having to drag at my skin or go over areas where make-up's harder to remove. This is very simple and makes everything quick and easy! It doesn't leave my skin dry or tight, it leaves everything soft and smooth but doesn't strip my skin of any moisture. This cleanser makes the tiring task of taking my make-up off at the end of the day alot less annoying. It's definitely a new favourite of mine and I can never find a cleanser that ticks all the boxes but still leaves my skin soft and clean, this one however does everything I need it to!
